Nicole Thomason is a professional artist, dynamic teacher, and mother of five boys. She earned her BFA and K-12 Visual Arts teaching license from the University of MN, Duluth, and a Master of Arts in Theology from Franciscan University in Ohio, and completed her theological studies at the Angelicum in Rome, Italy. Nicole has always worked as an artist and she began showing professionally in 2010. Nicole approaches her drawings and paintings with rich Scandinavian designs from her heritage, folk art style, and expressive nature drawings. She is a part of 40 West Gallery and has shown at Grace Gallery on Santa Fe in Denver, CO. She was awarded an art excellence for her piece in the show Drawing the Line at 40 West Gallery. Nicole has been a part of an artists co-op for over 10 years, she has displayed and sold her work at local churches, art festivals, breweries, shops, and galleries. She has over 20 years of teaching various subjects to all ages and grade levels. She has spoken at many venues about faith and education. She presently teaches K-8 Art at a private school in Denver. She served on the art curriculum renewal team for the Archdiocese of Denver.
